Interests ：memory (especially working memory) in speech / auditory domain (related to speech perception and speech production)
I am Sainan Shi , graduate student in ECNU since 2017. I always believe that education is both art and science. So for me , digging in Cognitive Neuroscience is a good starting point to explore science-based , especially brain-based methods to enhance human cognition , and thus promote effective education.
More specifically , my recent research interest is in memory (especially working memory) in speech / auditory domain (related to speech perception and speech production). I now run two projects. One is to explore the relationship between auditory WM precision and attention resource allocation caused by retrocue during maintenance phase using a novel pitch-matching paradigm. Another is to clarify whether and how the motor system is involved in short-term/working memory of speech representations.
Besides , I love wine , fitness and books.
